Prophet Singer: The Voice and Vision of Woody Guthrie (American Made Music (Paperback)) Reviews
Very interesting and knowledgble. I have been looking into his life and this one is a good review. I am glad it focused more on his music rather then his life and political views.
This is a detailed look at Woody Guthrie's music. Jackson has not produced a bio of the hard-travelin' folk singer. If you're looking for that, you might check out Guthrie's semi-autobiographical (??) Bound for Glory.
